Picture: Patches Of Light

Here’s a really cool photo of a ship in the calm seas. Even though there are some dark clouds around, there are poles of light that come through and make this picture very dramatic and beautiful. I don’t know, but for some reason I would like this picture more if it was black and white. Here’s where I found the picture and below are two Photoshop versions of the original. Which one do you like better?

Picture: The King

Found this picture on flickr and it was named The King, which is so appropriate! Just look at this guy, he must be The King, and who am I to disagree? Found the picture here and other than working on the colors, I’ve blurred the wall behind the lion and have made a little sharpening on the lion as well.

Picutre: The Look Of A Girl

If you are visiting my site or are subscribing to the RSS, I must apologize for not posting anything new for a while. I’ve been super busy at work. I’m still a bit physically tired from it all. Anyways, I’m back and ready to post. Found this picture here and you’ll find my interpretation of it below. Thanks.

Picture: Village Girls Dancing

This picture comes from this site, which has several vintage pictures from all over the world. Definitely check these pictures out because each one says a story of a people, a time, and a place much different than ours. I really like this picture of the girls dancing. I’ve played with it and have come up with my own Sepia and Black & White photos to share with you.

Picture: Spring At Mount Rainier

Well, Mount Rainier seems to be another heaven on earth spot. I’ll definitely check it out one fine spring, thanks to this picture. This photo seems to be the most viewed photo of the year on earthshots.org, according to this site where I found the picture, however it doesn’t specify the year. The site further states about the picture, “It is technically excellent and has been processed to perfection”. Well, I am not sure if that’s true. Below is my Photoshopped version.
